A profession may seem obvious, but it sometimes is a winding path constructed over time. It was when I realised what psychology brought me personally that I knew it was my vocation.

I studied psychology at the University of Fribourg, and during my curriculum, I got involved in a student commission for equity and social justice. This commitment - enriching and formative on both a personal and professional level - birthed a wish: to offer a welcoming, benevolent, and non-judging space to everyone who feels the need. A wish that I am now realising.

Once I graduated, I set up as an independent psychologist and pursued a postgraduate training to become a humanistic psychotherapist.

My approach

Carl Roger’s humanistic approach conveys strong values that resonate with my vision.

Empathetic understanding
Congruence
Unconditional positive consideration

Empathetic understanding: upon your invitation, I enter your world and learn to understand it.

Congruence: I remain true to who I am to truly accompany you in who you are.

Unconditional positive consideration: I consider you in a respectful non-judgement way and I trust your ability to actualise yourself.

Egalitarian relationship

Another fundamental aspect for me in the humanistic approach is the egalitarian relationship between the therapist and the consultant. No one knows you better than yourself: you are your own specialist of your experiences, your feelings, and your emotions. I am the therapist who implements the psychological tools and processes. Together we collaborate to get you where you want to go.

Thus, I offer counselling that puts the person – you – in the centre.

Adapted rates

I offer individual, couple, and family counseling sessions lasting 50 minutes. 10 minutes per session are allocated for administrative purposes. Rates are therefore calculated for one hour. Different rates exist: full individual, reduced individual (students, AVS/AI, unemployed), couple, and family. A “solidarity” rate is also available: the additional amount is allocated to allow counseling of people in financial difficulty. Rates are available on request.

Member of the FSP and AFP certified, my sessions are reimbursed by some complementary insurances. For reimbursement by the basic insurance, please contact me via the Cabinet Lavicennes in Bulle.

FSP and AFP/FPV member

I am member of the Association of Psychologists of the canton of Fribourg (AFP) as well of the Swiss Federation of Psychologists (FSP).

Counselling for LGBTQIA+ people

I am currently following the “Plur-IELS: Accompanying people of plurality of genders” training course given by Centre3, the Agnodice Foundation training centre.
